Hey sarek! i wanna thank you for the idea of that manifold heat shield. I now currently have the same shield on my Full Race manifold because they still had the design plans from your build i'd still be in a heat-shield pickle if it wasn't for your creation

No problem, I'm sure it'll serve its purpose, mine hasn't had any problems so far. Good stuff!

Hey Paul great stuff on your build, always great to see properly built stuff! I am in the same boat as you, where I am seeing a loss of coolant--up to a liter a week now. It is hard to diagnose cause I did a coolant pressure test and the pressure stayed steady, and there is nothing milky under my rad cap. Sometimes I can smell coolant but its really hard to trace, so regarding this "recently got an analysis done. They showed a trace of coolant in the oil. It was running fine and not overheating. " Where did you get your oil analysis done, and how long did it take?

Thanks,
Joe

^ I love his car too but it gives me a headache how much he works on it. I just want him to give me another ride in it already!

I got mine done at Blackstone Labs. Once they receive it it takes 1-2 days. They email the results in pdf, great service! I think it's about $15/test.

I changed the headgasket and sent another oil analysis and the coolant content has reduced dramatically! But there was no visible damage on the head gasket

They said that its reduced and not competely gone because there may be some residual coolant and should show even less on the next interval.

I also got hardlines for my turbo coolant routing, just in case. Starting the car up tomorrow finally. I'll update this thread. How are your temps? i passed a leak down and pressure test too I hope you find it soon!
