did you send yours out to coating yet?
This week I've been considering running a turbo blanket instead as the cost is simular

read my post below, Im choosing to NOT coat mine since chipping seems impossible to stop.
I used the DEI Ti 1" on my DP and it looks amazing.
Think the 1" will be the best way to go for the mani as well as there's not a lot of room to work with

The problem is that the SS used in all the tubular manifolds has a relatively high thermal expansion coefficient. The coatings aren't 'ductile' enough to also expand/flex, so they crack.
Personally, should I go turbo, I still plan on getting it Swain coated. 90% coated is still better than nothing!

Who made your full race manifold heat shield?
EDIT: and or for your manifold, but it would have to be a custom "one of" (a kind)

Right now the car is in the shop getting the headgasket replaced. I was loosing a bit of coolant ever since the tune possibly before.. I thought it was the air purging from the sytem. I've changed the oil every 1k just in case and recently got an analysis done. They showed a trace of coolant in the oil. It was running fine and not overheating. But I didn't want to take any chances so I bought all the parts for the HG install. I didn't have time (or really, the ballz) to do the headgasket myself so it's in the shop, should be back by next week.
I was daily driving at 19 psi But after I get it back I'm going back for a new tune because I changed the exhaust (2.5" after the split and bigger mufflers for less noise) and I also need a boost/speed map so I'm not spinning my tires every time I hit boost!
