I wasn't having traction issues. The car did not spin at all and had no problem going straight. The car is lowered and I have my ap1 rims sitting in the garage, could use those. But again I wasn't having traction issues. I'd love to drop it at 7k, but then I could just say bye bye to my rear end. Just out of curiosity what size micky's were you running?

a 2.4 60ft is pretty awful for this car. i used to pull 2.1's in my oldschool teg gsr, that ran me 14.80s on an n/a setup.

this doesn't mean you're an awful driver, though! there are a few things to consider here. maybe your launching isn't up to par but the first thing that comes to mind to me is boost control.

when i was turbocharged i had the computer adjust boost by gear - so i made 8psi in first, 12 in second, and finally the full lot in 3rd gear and up.

are you set up like this too? 500whp at full boost is great to have, but if you have boost by gear/speed/rpm setup, understand that you arent making 500whp in every gear. combine that with maybe a bad launch or a a small detonation problem and your times can become very logical.

Ok first of all I told you in a previous thread that something is not right with your car. I heard it in that video you posted a few days ago that you're detonating or misfiring. Second your time has a lot to do with you. First of all your pull away from the line like you pull away from a light? This might be good for your diff but if you want good times you have to launch it. Oh make sure you have a trailor handy because while you might get a good time you never know if its gonna be your axle or rear that comes apart right after you let the clutch fly. Also what crazy track makes you weld a cage in especially at that slow of a speed? My track has never complained about me running 12's with no cage.

Def a low trap. I was trapping 120 with 420whp. Making 600whp i trapped 140.

def shoulda been a 120+ trap. log the car, look at knock, get it on a dyno, see whats up. maybe just plugs are fouled out. then get back to the track

but your gonna have to pull better then 2.4's! i am down to 2.0's laucnhing at 3500rpm. now i am gonna try 2 steppin at 5500-6000 and see if i can get down to 1.7 or 1.8. **** the diff, it breaks, get another one

Like I've said I've only taken the car to the track twice and have only ran the car a total of 8 times. It takes practice. I can go pull a log right now, but how do I read it?

If you aren't into 1/4 stuff, then i wouldn't worry too much about your time. Don't launch the car and break the diff if that isn't your bag. I'd be more concerned about your trap speeds. Try doing what other people have recommend. Also do a WOT run and pull out your plugs and inspect them. Post up pics so other people can see them.

aem right? bring up the tuning screen, that has all the important shit to look at. push i think f6, that starts the log. a red blinking bar should be down in bottom left saying logging. do some hard 2 and 3 gear pulls. then hit f6 again, and a box should come up to say save this and name it. after that, it opens up in aem log. then you can look at all the sensors that were on that screen.

if the car is breaking up top i would think knock sensor would be going crazy.

I know how to pull the log, just not sure how to read it. Can't I just pull the log from the track?

depends how much your internal log stores. mine only does 20 minutes but i have a shit load logging.

its a line graph that you overlay the sensors u want to see on . then you just move from left to right looking at the values at specific rpms.
