Is the comptech flywheel really worth the $300+ on a turbo car? I am going to order my clutch on Tuesday and I might just buy the hardtopguy package if the flywheel is really worth it.

 

Does your engine wind up quickly? Do you want it to wind up faster?

 

I'd love it wind up a little faster but I'm not sure how much of a difference the comptech one will make. Do you have it?

 

Yep. 3+ years of great service so far. Quality piece of chromemoly steel.

 

a little off topic... but how much power can the act clutch and comptech flywheel package that hartopguy sells handle?

 

I was contiplating this for a long time and came to the conclusion that if I was going to be tracking my car, then the lightened flywheel would benefit. But for drag and what I use the car for it will not benefit. I'd just keep the stock flywheel if I were you. A lightened one will cause the engine to rap up too fast and you could lose some low end torque.
