If you change the clutch for a performance one such as the ACT HS1-HDSS do you need to change the release & pilot bearing too?

Also, as mine is a UK Spec AP1 with only 40k miles on the clock would I need to change my flywheel in order to cope with around 400bhp or are you guys saying that the AP1 flywheel is perfect for the job?

For 400WHP my best bet is to go with the Exreme Plate and a 6 Puck disc, if you wanna slap in a Ap1 flywheel thats ok since the Ap2 flywheel is a lot heavier than the Ap1's

I would not do a puck clutch for 400whp. IMHO.

If you are running a supercharger, I would stick to the stock Flywheel, as still will help the longevity of your blower. The weight will help your blower when you decelerate

Agreed. No need to sacrifice any drive-ability for that low of power.

I feel the need to 3rd the motion...

There is no need to move to a 6-puck disc just because you are at or near 400 HP.

To maintain a "Stock Driveability Feel"......and get increased holding power many here have chosen the ACT HD pressure plate paired with the OEM Disc.

That setup is good up to about 375 Ft-lbs of torque....(around 550 HP)

I'm sure there are many options available, but many also sacrifice Driveability.
