I really dont lose any traction going dry to wet, as long as its not blacktop* but Im just wondering cause I might go with a different wheel setup so I dont have to use wheel spacers on my work emotions.

Well, I used to daily drive it. I switched between my Bike and my car but then I blew the motor like 3-4 months ago.

It was comptech supercharged daily driver and Im 20 minutes from Chicago so I get a good bit of rain.

I can say thes tires are superb in the wet stuff.

How did you manage 2.5 on a stroker kit? I spoke to Earl from Laskey's and he said all i needed was the F22c crank, but it would be a 2.2 Thanks
We have a stroker kit to create a 2.5L motor.

It is not turbo'd, it is NA, but i was just referring to Quivers post about the tires, which are the same tires i'm running.

Hm - I'd say the Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3 or the BFGoodrich KDW Tires if your car will see a combination of both wet/dry conditions would be best.

However, if thing's do change and your wet driving conditions are eliminated - I'd recommend the Advan A048 Tires, just know they do not last too long! I haven't personally tested them, however I used the Advan A032R tires for 4k miles at 319whp Supercharged and 2500 miles at 358whp Supercharged - very impressed! In fact, I did drive on the A032R's at Wake the Dragon 2005 - which had rained a good portion of the weekend. I was actually suprised that the tires handled very well in the wet!

I was running kumho ecsta supras 235 wide all around at wake the dragon and those were great until it got down to 50 degrees.

so far Ive run dunlop 9000's, bfg sports, kumho ecstas, bfg kdw2's, and I have a new set of so3's on my stock ap1 wheels that I havent tested yet.

Subscribing...I am sure I will benefit from the posts, seeing that despite my time around cars, I know very little.

Black Nugget, this is a great venture, Thanks.

Speaking with one of our Forced Induction Moderators, I have asked permission that I be allowed to start a 'Forced Induction Chat' thread.

Those of you who may be familiar with threads such as the Mid-Atlantic 'Hard at Work' or Dragonball Run 'Days til WTD' thread - this is a similar idea. This thread is designed for conversations in regards to the Forced Induction Topic.

Perhaps you are sitting around late at night & can't sleep, or you are bored at work and are in the mood to talk Turbos and Superchargers - this is your haven!

*Disclaimer* - This thread is not designed to limited other 'Forced Induction' threads, however merely to be a thread for members to have small/large chats that they do not feel is severe enough to make a post. Perhaps, "Which spark plugs are best for a 9psi supercharger setup?". Instead of making a post and dealing with the 'Do a search." comments, you will have other members willing to give you a quick answer to your question!

I am hoping with this thread Forced Induction Members can grow a bit closer, offering help to anyone who is in need! At the same time, we can moderate ourselves in this thread - making sure forum rules are still followed!

Chat Away....
A Hard-At-Work like thread in FI????

I don't think you guys want me in here
