S2000 Forced Induction S2000 Turbocharging and S2000 supercharging, for that extra kick.

Is FORCED INDUCTION right for me?

From a first or second gear roll, with the S2k at 6k, the E46 M3 might be in for a surprise.
You're probably right. The s2k is a beast on a roll when you keep the rpms high.

Why is everyone getting so defensive when I brought up the m3? lol. I have an s2000 now and I actually like it more than my m3. I'm just saying that the m3 is a quick car stock and could probably beat or at least hang with supercharged s2ks.
A friend of mine had an 02 Vortech S and could pull on his cousins 03 M3 all day long.no ones trying to bash on the M3..just giving the boosted S2k some credit.

I said FI sk2 mainly just to include everyone here. A SC s2k and M3 would be close though. However, a turbo S vs. M3 "in a straight line" wouldn't even be a race.

not the track > drag debate again. Noone ever said they weren't good track cars, but its nice to go straight too ya know?

I was just replying to the guy that said, " a supercharged s2000 racing an e46 m3 is like racing a civic with 2 cylinders."
Actually get my post correct, I said "a FI s2k vs a M3 is like racing a 91 civic with 2 cylinders running."

I never said a SCed one, I was more refering to a turbo charged one because its the truth. I raced the 450hp 06+ GTO and put 8 cars lengths on him from 5-95 mph, do you honest think a 330hp M3 would stand a chance?

What numbers are you putting down at the drag strip and on the dyno?

If you would reread all of my replies, I always said "supercharged s2ks", so I don't even know why you came in here like I was talking about turbo s2ks. Its easy for a turbocharged s2k to just turn up the boost and get extra power, but you don't drive with high boost daily, do you?

Yes, the thread title said "forced induction", but I'm only looking to go SC. Turbo s2ks are irrelevant in this discussion.

I make 420 to the wheels daily driven

I don't drag race, I autoX and, ocassionally, go to road courses. Drag racing is a game of chicken, whoever is more prepared to break something will get the faster time. FWIW, two guys with pretty much the exact same set ups run 11's all day long.

^^^I'm sure when people say the car can hit 11's they mean with a competent driver.

correct, which is another reason why drag times are pointless...there are far to many factors to add into the equation.

I probably could hit 11's but again, I dont have a "need" inside me to complete blow my differential into a million little peices when I drop my clutch with 400+rwhp.

he meant the two "other" guys, not him..

Its like saying, "these other guys ran this time with my setup, so I can too"
