After 9 years of owning the S, I have decided to go the FI route..
So I need some info for a project I'm conducting, and hoping to get some great input from the highly experienced and well knowledgeable members here regarding simple answers.... I would greatly appreciate info from those who actually have the kit, or had, or obviously is a tuner, or sponser.... I am only referring to the kit, and nothing regarding FMU, EMS, injector sizing and the accesories.. So below I have listed 2 groups of forced induction types, TURBO & SUPERCHARGER for you to choose... If there is a kit I am missing please let me know..
SUPERCHARGER KITS
COMPTECH
VORTECH
KRAFTWERKS
SCIENCE OF SPEED
STATIC X MP62
TURBO KITS
INLINE PRO
GREDDY
FULLRACE
ULTIMATE
REV HARD
SPEEDCRAFT
Now out of all these kits with a "money is no object" mindset, which kit would you choose for your S2000 to be used mildy, daily driven 3-4 days of the week with many spirited driving invloved, tracked (road-course) 1-2 times a month?
Thanx...
Rom-
Full Race GT30/GT35, depending on your power goals
-Efficient Manifold
-Not really that much more than other kits
-Good customer service
-Quality Kit
By track, do you mean roadcourse or drag strip? Turbos aren't exactly roadcourse friendly without a lot of upfront work/planning.

honestly for road coarse work the Static X supercharger kit would be sick nasty. instant power from way down low to up top and the throttle response similar to all-motor that you would need to stay out of trouble, no surges like from a turbo kit. drag strip or just high hp street car then the turbo route will give you the most power. out of that list I would pick the Full-Race kit. what I'm going to do personally that's not on your list is the kit from Central Florida Turbo.

Yeah if your planning on road courses i would foccus on the Superchargers. I dont have any direct experience running a turbo on a road course, but knowing a bit about some of the weaknesses of the turbo and listening to feed back from other members, its clear they are problematic with over heating. No one that I know of has been able to keep one running consistant and reliably cool for road courses. So with that in mind the Vortech, Comptech and KW I am most famielure with and are proven to work well for what you want, its kind of a tuff call to make on which is best as they all have different strong points. I think you need to be more spisific about what kind of power you want to put down. I run the Comptech myself. Its about the most popular kit for the s2000 and has seen some revisions since its early days, so its very reliable and has good power potentual, 400+ I have the best local support with others running this kit so that was a strong point for me, something else you may want to consider. Some would argue that the Vortech is just as reliable but offers more power potentual due to the blower differences. There are some members hitting 500whp with this kit. "Sideways" is a well known member who runs this kit and would have much to add i'm sure. KW is much newer on the market and uses a rotrex blower which is quite a bit different then the VT or CT blowers. Its been proven to be a popular alternative to the other two and offers a slightly fatter power curve, it also reaches its max efficency sooner so if your looking for top end power 400+ then this may not be your kit. The others you have listed I am not as famielure with.

So HP and TQ numbers will vary anyways....
But thanks to you, just as I orignally started I'm already leaning towards the SC route, and COMPTECH....

Thank you.. Yea "sideways" Phil, I have met numerous times and seen his car, and avenue of forced induction... But I'm not going for specifics here really... I'm basing the route again on overall judgement considering my S2000 to be used mildy, daily driven 3-4 days of the week with many spirited driving invloved, tracked (road-course) 1-2 times a month as I said earlier...
