Fuel pressure drops
The benefit of having an adjustable 1:1 FPR like the AEM FPR is so you are able to set the fuel pressure to your desired psi so that you can get more out of your injectors, ie lower duty cycles and being able to push the injectors a little harder for more power. As long as your pump can accomodate the added pressure that is.
In your case, if you are not going for huge power like 600 whp, the stock FPR should work just fine, but being that you have the AEM FPR and it does bleed off, its not hurting anything and is actually made to do that. Its just a different design than the stock FPR.
