I am going to stop by Honda today and pick up a new sock. Not sure when I'll get to the actual replacement, though. Soon.

FYI, this fuel filter 'sock' is not the correct sock. it is obviously angled wrong, and was included in many of the early kits. The angle of the sock is such that it blocks the fuel level from reading accurately as you are low in fuel.

Look at the stock filter and it's not angled, it's perpendicular to the pump. Just use an OEM filter as others have said and your issue should go away.

PS. the 'fix' in the picture might work, but if you have the pump out already, might as well replace the sock with an OE part.

The filter circled in red below is the CORRECT filter that is being included in the newer Greddy kits. You can choose to purchase this one from walbro or use an OEM filter. You might even try contacting greddy for a replacement walbro sock, you never know.

I'm trying to get GReddy to send me the new filter... if I don't get an answer I'll just buy the OEM filter from Honda.
