Fuel questions
Hey guys, I'm working on a turbo build with a full blown divided manifold, 6266 turbo, aem ems, full blown 340 pump. I'd like to have around 450-500hp. I have a set of 800cc deatsch werks injectors I bought when I was planning to do a more mild log setup. How much horsepower will these injectors support? Should I just upgrade to ID1000 or deatsch werks 1300cc injectors? I plan on running 93 pump. Also will I need a FPR? Thanks.
I would go id1000s and an aem FPR, I would also go for a 5857 or 6262 turbo for those power levels.. I happen to be selling an AEM FPR and ID1000s with plug and play clips all for 500 shipped
I'm leaning towards the 6266 because I might want to crank the boost up later on. The id1000s seem like the best injectors on the market, but since I have the 800s...I'd rather use them unless they'd prevent me from reaching 450-500 whp.
i dont think you will have enough injector, esp if you want to run e85 and crank boost. go bigger the first time. id1000 or bosch 900 idle great. pump gas you will hit your goal. e85 you might with the id1000 injectors.
Yes your injectors are fine for your current goal of 450whp but your turbo is super overkill; I'd use a 5857 or gt3076. If you want to use e85 or make full use of that 6266 turbo you'll need id2000, duel fuel pumps, fpr and etc.
Thanks for the advice, I think I will stick to the 800s for now and shoot for mid 400s. I do plan on going big in the future...fb fuel setup, e85, built rear and supra trans, I just need to make more tooth money.
