Just wanted to add an important note to this thread. Absolutely you must replace the plastic fuel feed line at the tank on a 2006+ when you convert to a 2005 fuel pump hanger. If you try to reuse the plastic feed line, it was absolutely kink and cause fuel pressure issues. Ask me how I know?
I am now. I didn't replace the feed line when I added the new hangar and return line. If you replace the feed line, like I am now, then this is a non-issue.

No way man, you gotta contort yourself in the trunk like the rest of us! Ha.
In all seriousness, sorry to hear that... but, better now than something happening at a bad time.
Replaced the feed line with the radium 8an line. I hope to never do that again. Fitting the 8AN line onto the fuel pump hangar was a pain and routing the line down the tank required removing the white clip that holds the lines to the tank. Otherwise the install was not hard. Only took about an hour.
I went ahead and added a flex fuel sensor to the car this weekend. Highly recommend that you do this when running the line initially versus waiting till later like I did. Again wasn't hard but I didn't enjoy making fittings on my back under the car. Unfortunately my AN wrenches broke and I had to use steel wrenches that marred up the fittings.

Correct it's on the return side. I went with the SOS kit, which I realize is more pricey and includes stuff I didn't need. But it also includes the metal mounting bracket, which I did want. As long as it works, it's a one time expense.
