Unhappy Funny noise from the rear

Sorry to post some odd and sometimes dumb questions i here but in the other forums i cant get answers.

Sometimes when i turn the car, i hear this clicking noise coming from what sound slike the rear. I could be wrong and its could be coming from the transmision. but it sounds like foprm the rear. my car has 71000 miles onit. could the diff be about to puke from the 2 trips to the drag strip or is this normal. just wondering

yes,

I had this EXACT same thing. So did S2kride.

It was the wheel bearing...they told me brakes first I said no...came back they told me diff ...I said no.... Last time I finally PHYSICALLY SHOWED a tech the rear wheel moving on the hub he said..... "sorry man the service writers are a bunch of idiots, your exactly correct"

Perhaps its your diff if its ONLY when you turn... mine would click sometimes even in a straight line but clicking was worsened while turning.

Wheel bearing. Make sure they replace the hubside too as that will now fail since your already hearing the occasional clicking.

remember thats what they said to me too. EVERYONE WAS SOOO SURE. Gears being gone will sound more like crunching and poping, bearings are more of a creak in general.
