Yes I have read that too by the internet, however since my car is being dyno'd on a Dyna-Pack I decided to look into it further.
I found lots of large well known business's who have both types do back to back comparisons and their Dyno-Pack read lower by around 8%.
I could not believe this because in theory you have less loss through wheels.
i would thing something is wrong. The greddy kits are really bad kits in terms of power but your running an aem ems with a full 3 inch exhaust system. You should be making at least over 300whp no matter if its a high or low reading dyno. Some dyno pacs read lower than dyno jets and some read higher than dyno jets. Depends on how they setup the dyno and the location of the dyno. I personally dyno at church automotive dyno which uses a dyno pac and they are at sea level and there dyno is known for reading higher than normal.
Are you using a log manifold? If so, consensus is needing a higher then stock vtec (around 7k rpm) engagement point to not have the power drop off prematurely. Could be your main issue.
Thank you to everyone for their insight, help and comments!

I think something is definitely wrong somewhere, but I don't know what it could be. After spending a lot of time lurking the forums specially the greddy kit numbers people tend to get in the 280-290, with my setup I did think i was going to go over 300 but boy was I wrong.

Yes I am using the PFab log manifold (greddy kit replacement because the greddy one had cracked), and my vtec is pushed to 7k already.
