gm map sensor is tihs right? help help
im having problems with my map sensor it reading all over the place i have two map sensors just to make sure one wasent faulty they are (gm3bar) map sensors im geting a reading with the igintion on of 2.3 map volts and engine load of 215 kpa so i changed my map sensor to the new one so i could just make sure it wasent faulty and the same thing with the new map sensor so i decided to cut the wires down a bit and put new conectors to see if it was just a bad conetion or stail wires but now im geting a reading of 3.4 map volts and the engine load is at 215 kpa ??? i called aem the said my kpa should be around 100 but the didnt tell me what map volts it should be at all the said is that it is wrong and the my map sensor or wiring is the problem ??? what do you guys have out there what are the readings ment to be aem aslo said just wire the map sensor up stiright from the ecu dose any one no what pin is the map signial???? from the ecu??

The stock map sensor has a max output of 4.8volts. Obviously, voltage reading will depend on the pressure it senses at the throttle body.
I think you should consider consulting a pro if you are unaware of how map readings should look. They will always vary as you drive.
