with 10k you cna pump 6k into a turbo setup and the other 4k buy a daily driver.
Thanks but thats not an option... I already have a second car, i dont wanna boost my car then drive it less, that in my opinion is a waste of time and money.

If it was my DD I would get a more reliable Comptech supercharger

My pfab setup is reliable to me but not my DD.
Im not opposed to this approach, i like the sos kit too, but the reason i started this thread is to get some insite from other s2k owners with fi exp. It sounds like the turbo owners dont DD their cars at least the ones that chimed in.

i have one for sale if your interested.
Thanks bro... Why this exaust over the others? For the record im not into buying used parts or used anything for that matter. Id much rather pay the extra cost of being the only owner. But ill let my boy know he has a ap2 that he plans to boost

PTuning is strongly considering producing the dual set up earlier than planned. If you're that interested in the PTuning kit then I would wait a little longer before making the decision. They're planning on releasing the kit end of July/beginning of August if everything continues to come together smoothly. I think they'll share more information on the dual set up at the release of the kit. Right now their priorities are on the kit itself.

I just installed an ACT HDSS clutch over the weekend so that the car will be ready when the PTuning kit is released. My deposit is in. I think for the money you can't beat the quality of the kit and how well thought out they have made it. They have done several things that aren't necessary to the kit but that make it user friendly and vehicle friendly. I.E. vacuum block (also can be used for meth injection), oil scavenger, optional oil cooler, exhaust manifold/downpipe design, etc.

Stay tuned for a complete installation write up.

I drive my Turbo S nearly every day that (except when it rains). I have really only had to check the oil more frequently and re-torque nuts (I am OCD) frequently. I have a PFab twin-scroll GT35R and love it. I have a dual UR exhaust and no cats. Hondata KPro and a good tuner. Loads of fun. I also had the CT S/C before the turbo. No comparison. Turbo soooo much more fun. If you spend a little extra time covering all you wires and hoses in fire-wrap and turbo blankets, the under hood problems are minimal. Tap the girdle for oil return and no problems with oil back-up. Overall, turbo a little extra work initially, but much more fun in this car. Drive up to Mase and let him tune it. Hell, buy his kit and let him install it and tune it. Just show up and drive it.....

Wow u dd a 500hp s? thats insane. I dont want more than 400whp in this car... Id kill my self.(trust me ive had some pretty fast cars) is the power the reason u dont drive in the rain? Or something else im missing. Id love to drive up to mases shop, but i dont know where its at, when i call the number noone picks up the phone. Thanks for the info.... Glad u enjoy your setup!

Ps i dont mind putting in the extra work initially i just dont wanna have my car on a lift every 50 miles. I come from a family of muscle cars and german speedsters so i know what a headache it is to always have to "tinker" with your car(mostly the muscle cars tho)

About the rain, I have a vented hood and open filter to the turbo. I also have 285 rear tires and 500 hp... Prob be fine, but I am very OCD and drive the SUV when it rains. I live in Dallas, so not a whole lot of rain.

i live in orlando and DD my car 426hp. i love always messing with the car so im always under the hood to monitor and doublecheck things. i know from numerous turbo builds, if you do it right the first time and show your car some loving its not bad, if your pushing 600-700 hp then thats a different story
