S2000 Forced Induction S2000 Turbocharging and S2000 supercharging, for that extra kick.

Is going FI worth it?

Default Is going FI worth it?

I was thinking about turboing or supercharging but was wondering if it's worth it.
Do you gain a lot on straight aways like quarter miles? I remember reading that you don't gain too much on straight aways.
Is the maintaince and tune ups worth it?

Thanks

I can't speak for a SC'er setup, but even with a moderate turbo setup you will gain a very noticeable amount on the straights.

an SC setup gives a noticable kick in the straights but it's really mainly top end power. I would say an SC is MOST acceptable around a road course while a turbo gives the S2000 what everyone wants...daily drivable usable torque lower in the rpm range.
I have a Comptech setup and I am going to try moving VTEC down to 5200rpm (like the Comptech S2000) to see if that helps widen my power band some.

I had turbo and SC, if you want lower times in 1/4 mile runs, turbo is better than SC since it gives more power sooner.

At same psi turbo give more power.

it you want run road track and twisted roads I prefer SC, since it gives power more linear

below there is a cuver with SC, 6psi, and turbo,7 psi.

I would go with sc since its WAYYY less hassle. I have the lovefab kit..making GREAT power, but I can't even drive my car to school anymore because it feels like its breaking due to the extremely LOUD rattling =(...regrets...
