Default Going turbo...

Well guys, I am probably going to be joining you soon.. and I've searched a bunch on this but I cant really find a thread strictly about the pros and cons with going turbo.

I am planning on buying a new full-race GT3 kit with AEM EMS and tuned by Tony from T1.

My power goals are around 400whp.

Tell me some pros and cons please!

there are no cons!!! hmmmm boost

on a more serious note when going boost do your research, make sure the kits your are looking at do not need alot of relocating and extra mods that can add up the total price of going FI. Also preventitive maintnance is a must everytime you wash your car just do a look over and make sure nothing is out of place or leaking you will be surprised the lil things that can ruin your day if you dont notice them soon enough. Also make sure you have some cash on hand if anythign were to go wrong and on a boost car somehting will sooner or later, sometimes things as small as fouled plugs to more major things can take some cash to get fixed but if you got the cash to go FI do it! it gets to be alot of fun especially when you are at the 400+whp i should know im at 650

as far as the kit you are looking at i have not heard nothing but good news, same goes for the inlinepro kits, both companies are doing their thang and they do it good! Hopefully one day my shop and name can be as well known and respected as they are

dont wait summers almost here boost that biatch and the pros i dont think i need to state them

Pros:
Lots of power
One of the coolest mods out there
Exclusivity

Cons:
Cost
Tune- has to be done correctly
More boost usually equals less reliablity/ engine life expentency

Still it's an awesome mod and one I would have done had I not wanted to do other things to my car with the money I had alotted for mods.

Pros... the car becomes quick, more fun to drive.

Cons... sometimes its a huge PITA to get your turbo setup entirely problem free like stock.
