got an s2000 yesterday and im scared already
well, let me begin by saying i traded my fully built 370whp subaru wrx for this 2002 s2000. it has a complete greddy turbo kit that is aparently CARB legal which is cool. anyways, i've got a new questions that i hope i can get answers to fairly quickly. there is an o2 sensor that goes onto the down pipe and the wires pulled out of the plug. im looking for a pin out type of thing so i can re-pin this thing. i can find photos on the internet but i just need to know which white wire goes to where. i would really appreciate any help!
next question, this thing has a totally mickey moused test pipe that they cut/welded up and theres no bung hole so obviously theres no o2 sensor to plug into it. is this bad? i would assume so.
another question, it has a greddy e-manage ECU on it. i cant believe there is no CEL from this car not having the rear o2 sensor plugged in, which leads me to believe the ECU has probably been tuned by somebody who either knew what they were doing (doubtful) or by somebody who didnt know what they were doing (highly possible) and they programmed it to forget a certain CEL code. what is this possibility? i hope a few of you might be familiar with the e-manage.
and might i add, im in this whole situation because i got under the car and the down pipe was completely broken off from the exhaust flange on the turbo! it looks like somebody did some nasty arc or flux cored mig welding on it and tried to fix it. and this was probably their fist time welding because it turned out like a horror show. im gonna have to cut and re weld the down pipe to get the car going for now untill i get a good down pipe for it. however, im sure the AFR was totally off being that the o2 sensor is after this flange where it was busted and im a little worried about the map on the e-manage. i mean there are no gauges so i cant really monitor knock or air fuel ratio to even scrape by safely. hopefully i can get some help and get the o2 sensor working correctly.

Sounds like you need to talk to whoever you traded with. They obviously knew about this stuff and purposely didn't tell you. Did you test drive it or inspect it at all before trading? I'm not sure how Greddy emange works, but it's possible it doesn't read that back o2 sensor.
I'm fairly experienced with emanage and it does not have to ability to turn off an o2 sensor so to speak. There are ways to wire resistors in to turn off a light but not a specific thing in emanage. You need windows XP to load the emanage software onto and you can view your calibration and make adjustments if needed, assuming you have at least a wideband? Also, does the check engine light come on when you do a bulb check? i.e.-turn the key on and don't start because a missing bulb would also keep the light from showing. Have you checked it with a scan tool at least?
i checked it myself, but obviously thats only gonna do so good. this s2k was super super low and i didnt realize the down pipe was broken at the turbo because the thing was insanely loud and there was only maybe 3 feet of pipe after the test pipe so i figured it was because of that.

i havent been able to scan because i used to scan via a special obdII tool for my subaru and my computer. im not sure what to use for s2000 yet. im very very familiar with tuning, i left my AEM wideband in the subaru which i shouldnt have even traded in the first place. i was way too excited about the car and shouldnt have traded my 100% perfect subaru. ohwell, i cant dwell on it and must fix my mistake. how familiar are you with emanage? im gonna install all the programs and such today but i mainly need to make sure the correct base map is on the ECU. by the looks of the person who welded this down pipe, the ECU was probably never touched.
