got an s2000 yesterday and im scared already
Hate to say it, but it sounds like you got the short end of the stick here. Was the car ever tuned?
What you're feeling is just what a normal greddy kit feels like. Our cars move a ton of air, and that little pinwheel just doesn't cut it. My car is the complete opposite, absolutely nothing down low, and all top end, I don't see full boost until 6+
If you're craving more, here's my recommendation: Don't waste any more money trying to upgrade the Greddy kit. Clean it up as best you can, and cut your losses. Get the car running mechanically sound N/A and then do it yourself.

say, how much torque do they usually handle till things start reaching their weak point? im probably going to leave it as is. i spent huge bucks on the STI i traded for this car and cant bring myself to doing it again!
By torque, are you asking how much the greddy kit can handle or how much a stock s2k can handle? Subaru's require a little more prep depending on what model year. You're pretty much golden until after 500hp/400tq. Remember though, its a Honda; you aren't going to make tq numbers like your STI did. I agree with illest and GMK, sell the greddy kit and buy a cheap log kit. The Full Blown, Pfab, and Kings motorsports stage 1 kits aren't badly priced and can get you to 400 pretty easily.
today i found a ground strap on the bottom of the car that was not there at all, and i went to clean the IACV to find out it was leaking coolant into the intake manifold. also found a few vacuum hoses that were so loosely connected, i could have blown on them to remove it. sheesh!
Sounds like this car is accident waiting to happen, sounds like you bought a lemon.
Fwiw the greddy turbo kit needs vtec set real high I've found around 6500/7000rpm to help it not run out of puff. A) because of the manifold and b) because it's a tiny turbo and vtecs don't work too well with small turbos.

I would contact greddy's tech support or on their website , to check if they can send you the base map and you can compare to what you have.
Read this. I love my s2killer and I hope you get to enjoy it too.

What's done is done but I don't get why all this wasn't done prior to the swap unless this guy gave you a ton of money with the exchange
