Greddy E-manage ultimate owners chime in...
I was looking into a FI setup for the near future and I am looking into the most important aspect of the setup, the ECU. There is a strong possibility I would be going with the Rotrex S/C from Kraftwerks. I was going to go with the AEM ems 1052U but after doing hours of research and speaking with a friend who owns one himself, I realize the setbacks it comes with are not for me. I have been looking into the Greddy unit and wanted to know what the setbacks are. What is partial throttle like? Any other issues? I would like some input from people who either own the unit, have dealt with the unit first hand, or owned the e-manage ultimate at some point in time. Thank you.
I installed an Ultimate about 4 months ago to use with the SOT S/C kit. No problems with it so far. Below boost the car runs like stock. Have not had any problems with partial throttle in boost.
The documentation that comes with the Ultimate could be better. Have not talked with the Greddy people at all. All of my questions have been answered by WLaurent or MugenRioS2k.
Tuning with the Ultimate has been pretty easy. At this point, if I had it to do over again, I would still go with the Greddy emanage Ultimate.
