Default Greddy Owners MAP relocation help

Well.... I purchased a greddy kit a while back and have been slowly keeping track of all the parts I will need to install. The kit is all complete except the MAP relocation kit. Can anyone post up close pics on how the map is relocated?

I tried GOtuning on a replacement set and they have not heard back from greddy yet.

I may try to fab up something to make it work, I dont want to use a missing link because from what I hear you want your map to read boost, but just delay it from reaching the map so fast : AKA relocate.

Any help/ pictures would be greatly appriciated.

Ted

You can petty much put it were ever you want you just need that little adapter piece and the small tube, I put mine like maye 9 to 10 inches away and made a little bracket to hold it. Sorry I don't have any pics

From what I have read, IF you are running a BOV you do not have to do this. I have been fine with the stock location of the MAP sensor with my BOV. The relocation is to prevent the map from getting damaged by pressure when the throttle is let off. The BOV takes care of this.

The adapter plate has only a very small pin hole on the back side. It's not the size of the nipple that the hose connects to. I would imagine that this tiny hole may change the MAP radings somewhat.
