Default greddy turbo

My set up is a greddy turbo kit at 12 psi, full 3" DP back and methanol injection..... I don't often push the car into vtec because the low end is fun enough but today when I took it into vtec My wideband was showing that as soon as vtec kicked in my A/F ratio would jump to 13.... I know I was tuned at around 11.3 or so... so I took the meth kit apart and made sure evrything was flowing right.. Everything checked out... Went for a spin and the same thing.. So I thought it may because I didn't get the exact 50/50 meth and water mix so I added a little bit more meth... nothing again. I checked the injectors and there are no leaks... I was just wondering if u guys had any ideas why this could be happening and if 13 for A/F is safe????thanks in advance

I assume you were tuned with the meth?

How different is the weather (temp specifically ) now than when you were tuned? Any changes in your setup since then?

I wouldn't say 13 is safe.

does it jump to 13 and then fall back to low mid 11's or does it stay at 13? if it stays, something is up with either the tune, your meth mix, or the meth injection. it def shouldnt be that high on pump gas turbo.

It might be your "injector accel" table - may not be adding enough fuel on a hard acceleration.

13:1 is not safe, your EGTs can get out of control.

yea, not looking normal, I have never seen anything leaner then 12.0 when WOT on METH, take a look at my video you can see it drop to like 10.5 in VTEC (super rich but it was very hot that day)

this is true, and that's why having a good tuner for an emanage is that much more important...over the past 10,000 miles with a greddy kit, I've never seen out of control AFRs in weather conditions from 10 to 100 degrees

typical target afr under WOT is somewhere around 11.50s

on emanage, the car will richen itself up towards redline to keep things safe.

13s under boost is never a good thing.

Yah nothing has changed since the tune.... I double checked the methanol injection and it is fine... However I am 4 hours north of my local town right now and I only noticed it when I got here.. Could humidity and temp really have that big of a difference?? I am also wondering if it c ould possibly be bad gas..... I always have filled up with 94 octane and had no problems in kelowna, but i recently filled the car up in this town with the same gas, but noticed that everything was kinda wonky.... And yes it stays at 13 ....it does not just spike....I guess i will stay out of vtec till i get home and see if it maybe bad gas or the temp... I know it was cooler out when I got the tune done then it is now, but wouldn't that make it more rich??? Thanks for the help guys...
