Default Greddy Turbo AP1 Dyno

So I finally got my car tuned today. The kit was installed about a year ago and has been sitting waiting to get this done. I live in the Portland, OR area, and only one shop was willing and said they could tune the Emanage Ultimate. Several other shops said that they wouldn't even touch it.

The shop that did the work was Performance Race Engineering. Bobby took the challenge of tuning the EMU. He also answered all of my stupid questions (this was my first trip to a dyno) like they weren't stupid at all.

Anyway, the only issue seemed to be the closed loop idle portion, though I do know that the EMU is a huge PITA to tune for closed loop and takes a lot of time to take care of. I wasn't expecting a whole lot of improvement in this area, but he cleaned up 95% of it though. Before it would hesitate wildly in part throttle due to the AFR's and fuel trim bouncing all over the place. Now, it feels much better, nice and smooth. I was only charged $450 total, so I can't complain too much about the idle problem as it is now a night and day difference in how the car drives.

Thanks PRE!

The dyno was a dyno dynamics, which he said is one of the lowest reading.

Mods: Greddy kit, 76mm TB, test pipe, Invidia dual and 12psi

Comment away!

Yeah those are real good numbers looks like the guy did a good job for you and from where you numbers are starting out it does not look like he ran a correction factor. So based on other dyno's you may read 10-15% higher.

By big I'm assuming you mean it has a good rep? The shop itself isn't that big at all. 2 lifts and a dyno.

They did a very good job tuning that for you, especially the VTEC crossover.

Too bad the greddy doesnt make that much top end horsepower. I'm sure its still fun to drive compared to stock though.

I wish it was that shop! They said they don't tune the EMU anymore though.

Thanks again for your help with my problem!

dude thats the one!!!!!!! that is the sickest shop i have ever seen, well except champion motorsports down in ft lauderdale. that one wins since i was also in the shop checking everything out. my boy works for the guy that owns the porsche dealership down here, and the owners son runs champion motorsports.

instead of vipers and supras, there were porsche GT's and gt3's everywhere!!!!!!!
