So you are saying that you are the first and the only one with the Greddy kit?

What about this guy?
https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.ph...ic=510344&st=0

You say that this kit is prototyped on your car, but you own an AP1 and yet Greddy has been testing this kit on two of thier own S2000's since Feb. of 2006. One was an '02 AP1 and the other is this GPW '06 AP2 DBW

http://www.importtuner.com/features/0704_i...rbo_honda_s2000

And with proper tunning they laid 302HP on the DynoJet. So you are Probably very close in the way of tune!

All things aside...... Nice kit, and I can't wait for the CARB exemption!
Will_ChinLee WAS the one and only back when he started this thread in APRIL!!

the other guy you linked started his in July...

the white 06 sema car was just a show car. Which is why there is no DBW kit out yet.

there was no 02 ap1 being tested on...

Greddy has been testing the kit for over 3 years and this was their second in house car. The first was an AP1, witch by the way, they are using the exact same kit for all years. Including drive by wire! The modify the tune a bit for the 2.2 and a little more for DBW. This info is from a Greddy employee and he asures me that both vehicles are owned by employees! So unless you are a Greddy employee, I still find it hard to find out that you are the prototype car for them. You may have been one of the first on the streets to get it in your area.

Also, this kit was available back in Jan. of this year, I checked back then and they said that it was in stock, but I decided to wait to see if got the CARB cert. So I was could have purchased it in January but you were still testing it with them in April, how can this be?

Not trying to pick a fight, but I am just going on the info that I have. And it just seems like you are out for bragging rights. It's a newer turbo kit, thats dope enough

I'm not trying to pick at fight at all either--just a disclaimer.

Having that said, your information is all wrong. Who is this greddy employee that you speak of? What is his name?

Will_ChinLee was the prototype for Greddy. Plain and simple. The basemap that is used on all AP1 kits out right now, was derived from using his car on the dyno at Greddy's facility in Irvine, CA. He has had the kit longer than April...that's just when he got it dynoed and posted up...

For your information, My personal car was used for the AP2 throttle cable prototype at Greddy.

two manifolds? i know there will be cast version, but it has not been released yet.

All of the greddy kits released thus far have the stainless log manifold.

Because it was for show only! DBW is not as easy as throttle cable. More R&D needs to be done for 06+.

Well I apologise then if my info was incorect. I was just going of the info I was given by a Greddy sales rep back in January of this year. I will have to try to find the e-mails that he sent me to verify his name.

I guess this is what I get from listening to a sales man. I just figured that sales reps at tuner companies would be a little more informed. Not like the ones at stealerships, they just tell you what they think you want to hear

The only one that I am still confused about is the '06 GPW that you say was just built for show. From what I read from Import Tuner and a few other sites, is that this is a fully functional and registered street car that was put together to show case a sort of Total Tune-Up package or something like that. Is this wrong? And is the Drive by wire controlled by the ECU? I thought it was a independent set-up like on the Acura TL's.
