well in virginia, you have to get emmissions once every year or every two years.....your choice. But as for us...or me.......if you know mechanics and they can care less WHAT you have under the hood, if you can pass emmissions with the sniffer......they'll pass ya.

California i heard has VERY strict laws and that sucks!
va does not use a sniffer on obII cars. they use the scan tool. its rather easy to pass. you have to pass a visual inspection and the scan. the scan requires that your car is not throwing any cel's.
if u know some one, they can pass you. but its hard to find people that will hook u up.
not sure what they will do about the visual if they saw a turbo kit. i know that they usually just look to see if you have a catalytic converter.

i'm going to have to leave up to someone else to make the video, sorry guys. I'll have acceleration videos up sometime, but it's too sketchy trying to film a race between two S2ks in Irvine. Last thing i need is a speed contest ticket. sorry to disappoint.

Although it would be nice to have a comparo video..... I was just looking for single car tests like accel, high gear low RPM accel, and a few other types of runs to get an idea. Maybe even a speedo/Tach vid!
