Default Greddy Turbo S2000.

I should have searched around the forum first before posting this thread about needing help with my Greddy Turbo AP1. Anyways, got the car tuned today is the numbers look decent. 257 whp 189 ft/lbs and that is leaving everything else stock on the car besides the Greddy Turbo kit. So now I just need to do a little tweaking here and there and I'll be pushing close to 300whp. thanks for all of the help and advice.

Mine, is the same.

So, I leak checked the system and made sure everything else was ok. In fact I was running better at 3/4 throttle or below than WOT. Long story short it is the tune, where are the AFR's? In those you will find you are probably running 10:1 or less at WOT. They call it conservative tuning, I call it sloppy.

the AFR is 11/10:1....should that number be changed to something else? What did you change to fix the problem on your car?

you should get a real tune.. the map supplied with the kit is a generic one. meant for people to get to your tuner and get a real tune.

I am still working on it now. Tunning is the key I would not expect to see anything less than 11.0 or higer than 12.0 and add a small amount of timing back in.

I have a Greddy MAP on order now and that will be the last key for me to ruff in the map then I will take it to a Pro to polish the maps.

Hi kr34,

I had the same problem with both the AEM and the ultimate. Tuner couldnt figure out why. They checked through everything making sure everything was connected right and magically the next morning fired right up and the problem was gone.

After you get your problem solved be sure to get a new exhaust, stock is way too restrictive, do a search on the greddy kit and you will find what people have used which is available off shelf in the US.

Good luck!

Mark

Calm down, I am sure we can at least get some of this strait for you. First list all your mods on the car and what plugs your using. Is the car being tuned?

Well, I am running NGK Vpower 7173 gapped at .034", a test pipe and BOV, the rest is Greddy's. I called and talked to Mitch and he had me check to make sure the back of the Emanage said AP1 and it did. I then pressure tested the system to 10PSI for and hour, checked the connections to the map sensor. Then a I tried a map wack, went through all of the wiring and I found no problems. That was it for their diagnotics, they told me they would send a new program but if I have the AP1 then how will that help?
