Sigh. Sometimes I don't understand why some of us spend HOURS writing a shitload of material to help others, only to be IGNORED.
To the OP, read the Greddy threads, this issue is covered like 3 dead horses being beaten with a pogo stick.

The map is tuned so no It its not a base map that greddy expects you to tune. In fact you have to request a unlocked base map for a tuner to even begin tinkering with the map. It is always smart to get a re tune no matter what anyway. You spent thousands of dollars so a few hundred more to protect your investment is no big deal. Trust me get the tune and you will pick up more power plus smooth out most problems.
The problem with taking it to a tuner is that there is no one around that has the ability or willignness to tune this. Several hundred miles away there is a place that is an authorised dealer but I am not sure of their abilities yet. So that puts me back to square one and doing some tuning myself. Now tuning a car is not rocket science especally if you have a place to start like in Greddy's base map. I wont say that I am good at it but I can learn to use the Emanage.
NFRs2000NYC, yes I have spent hours reading the posts.

thanks everyone for you help and advice, i know exactly what needs to be done after searching around more in this forum...sorry for posting about this AGAIN!
didn't realize there were answers for this already...
in conclusion, all i really need is tuning because my ignition timing is all messed up. besides timing i need to upgrade my exhaust system. i'll let everyone know how it goes in the coming weeks.

The timing cannot be changed/adjusted. There is no distributor, therefore no adjustment. It's a timing chain with direct ignition. Correct me if I'm wrong, f20 gurus out there. You need a tune and open up the exhaust end, that'll fix the lack of power.
