Has anyone on here ported their own WG and put on a bigger flapper? I'm not good at this kind of stuff, im looking for someone who can do it, and do it perfectly, i want things to go good the first time thanks.

There are a few people that have done this or, had this done. Im sure they will chime in.

IMO, not sure it's worth it. However, it sounds like you are trying to squeeze as much power as possible out of this turbo kit?

Porting the wastegate is not about getting more power, it's about getting rid of the boost creep. Althought by getting rid of the boost creep, you can up the boost safely.

I have this kit with a 70mm TP, and 70mm exhaust and I get boost creep really bad. (working on it though) Porting the gate is going to allow more air to bypass the turbine and virtually git rid of the creep.

yep, i did it and I run 3" turbo back with no problems.. its fairly easy to do.. just search for it


engineer x and I started a thread and it shows how we did it and to what dimensions

let me know if u can't find it though

i didn't get a new flapper.. I just went as big as i could with about 2mm still overlapping.. worked for me.. the hole will be slightly oval.. I state the dimensions in that thread
