I was wrong about the hook up I changed the above post . To add with this guy. You probally have somthing wrong with your valve.

I personally wouldn't buy anything Greddy besides one of their exhaust systems...
(That's after owning a Greddy turbo, exhaust, blow off valve etc etc)

I'm not getting any boost leaks, just compressor surge. It was working at some point, but since I put the recirculation fitting on, and re-tightened some hose clamps, it won't blow. I took it apart and everything looks fine (no rips or tears, etc.). It's just confusing the shit out of me.

Bump. I took it apart and everything was intact. Could it be because I recently recirculated the valve to pass smog?

where did you recirculate it to what pipe. try venting it to atmostphere again and see your results
