that maybe true but their ecu's are already designed for compensating positive pressure. piggybacks generally work very well on factory turbo cars... at least a lot better than they do on honda on boost
you are correct, maybe i should have been more clear.

my point was that it can handle very large injectors. The 675s or 750s that he wants to run should work without any problems.

Now the question about max HP that the car could handle WITH the ultimate, that is where it matters that this is a normally n/a car vs. the factory turbo R34.

Is a 3" test pipe that much more free flowing than a Berk HFC? According to their website it flows 87% of a test pipe without the smell. I am willing to give up 10 hp to not have the tp smell.
Well the berk is a 63mm cat, and I run a 3"TP so it may be a bit different than how your comparing it. The berk is much better than the stock cat and much lighter by close to 5-8 pounds. I'm now woundering how much power I am giving up with the invida v3 not switching to a 3" single exhaust

If I were you I would go through the calculations. There a lot of intelligent people in this forum that have helped me but I always like to double check everything I read. Here is a link to a very simple worksheet that RC put together. Remember with the Walbro pump you have you should be able to raise the fuel pressure a bit and stretch out the 550 injectors if your calculations are close.

By my calculations, at 550cfm and 80% duty cycle, 60psig FP at WOT, you will probably want a 750CC injector. That should allow you as much as 450hp or slightly more depending on the conditions.
