Me personally, I really don't like gauges. Its not that I don't like knowing whats going on with the car, its just I can not find a decent place to put them in the S2000 that isn't gawdy, yet still offers good visibility. In my eyes, in the dash isn't in direct line of sight, so you have to take your eyes off the road to view a boost gauge - not really my idea of safe. Other normal spot is the A-Pillar, in my personal opinion I think gauges on the S2000 A-Pillar just stick out too far, doesn't look right in my opinion.
Personally I have decided to just run gauge-less keeping my eyes and ears open for possible issues - and trust my EMS Tuning. Then again, I only drove my car 6k miles this year and plan to drive even less next year.

From what I have been told, the AEM EMS does not have a display type mode - where you can just plug in the laptop and view certain parameters. If they do though offer something like this, I may look into it. Just tell my passenger where things should be and tell him to let me know if it goes off track.

If I did decide to run gauges though - Id run the following :
Wideband with Digital Readout, not a A/F Sweeper Gauge
Boost in psi, not bar.
Oil Pressure
Exhaust Temperature

What gauges you choose to go with are up to you - I'd probably run the DEFI Gauges for the Peak Warning Light & Beep!

Good gauge to have, but thats more of an under the hood gauge. Hooked up in line with your Fuel Pressure Regulator!

The AEM EMS does have a full configurable dash board. It will show you every bit of information the car is seeing. Here's a screenshot of mine.

Hey Scorpion, would you mind sharing your dash config file? I've played around with it a bit but not got anything as well set up as yours.

Does anyone make a program for the Pocket PC so you can read this sort of information on that via some sort of interface box?

This would be ideal as then you would only need to buy the sensors.

[QUOTE=Scorpion,Jan 5 2006, 03:54 AM] If you install one, I recommend the first runner in your exhaust manifold.
