Default Gutted The Convertible Top and Found This...

I figured this would be something everyone on here would like. I'm supercharged currently, and have a VIS hard top so I figured lets gut out the convertible n shed some weight!

2 hours into the disassembley of everything we removed the main convertible support bracket for the convertible top, and I noticed something green inside on the passenger side.

WTH is that?????!??!

Looks like back in 2003 when she was being built an assembly worker dropped his glass bottles cap inside the car. LOL Historic ~10 year old bottle cap. Enjoy the pictures.

That's awesome! I was helping demo a house a while back that was built in the 1800s, it was awesome, we found some really cool things behind the walls etc.....

No shit man, you should send that photo in to Honda!

Kinda cool when you think about the fact. The cars we love so nearly and deeply, some other human put time/sweat into, to make it what it is.

I wouldnt do that, I work with a few guys who worked for GM and Ford. They would get in trouble usually for having stuff like that found. I know one guy did these drawings on the backside of the Chevy Blazer dashes, GM sent the notice to not do it anymore because they were reported. Maybe Honda would react different? I dont know

Yeah, but this seems a bit more accidental/incidental than someone drawing on the back of the dashboard.

Has anyone else written on the underside of your floor pan above the transmission when you do a clutch swap? I think that's kinda funny to leave something for the next poor sap that ends up swapping the clutch on my car. Write something like "Don't break the knock sensor!" or "That top starter bolt was a b*#ch!"

Awesome find OP. Definitely something I would hold on to as a cool story later in life.
