Default Halman MBC w/ cockpit controller

Anyone using this set-up? The reason I ask because with my Inline pro mbc I was hitting boost cut even turned all the way down. The halman mbc is supposidly not a bleeder type valve. I went out yesterday to do a pull in 4th gear but no traction and sliding across four lanes I couldn't read the boost guage I want to know if this will solve the boost creep issues. I didn't hit boost cut yesterday because I didn't have a clean 4th gear pull. So I'm not sure. Is my boost creep issues solely because of the manifold. Is there another way to pressurerize the system so I can check how much psi is in the system and the halman is bleeding off without doing pulls on 95? I know the cold weather will make it creep but it's creeping from 13 low boost to 18+ highboost Boost cut is set at 19. I am running a full 3inch also

^^ i have a GM/ACDELCO boost solenoid + pig tail i could part with. It is the boost solenoid that is recommended to used with the AEM EMS in the manual.

Damn Manny! please dont go sliding into the rails bro...although you did mention about the cold weather helping with the boost creep... Have you thought about switching to a aem boost solenoid and hooking it up to your AEM? i did that and it definitely is easier all around...

I have a second gen fr manifold but I'm not sure if that is the issue completely. After I did the 4th gear pull I opted to not do any more haha. I though with the electronic one you'd have more boost creep issues.

those AEM boost solenoids hook directly up to the waste gate and right into the AEM and you can control the boost by just using the AEM vs the turn nob. Its much more reliable and its accurate. And so far have never heard of issues of boost creep.

its a very cheap thing, has two or 3 wires and places between the hoses and ur good

http://www.aempower.com/images/products/In...s%2030-2400.pdf

here is a diagram of how it would look like

it just sits between the turbo and the waste gate, and if i remember correctly, one wire is ground, the other wire hooks right into the aem. one of the pins actually. and when you hook up the lap top or the tuner, they can control the boost and the aem sees exactly the boost its pushing.
