Joey, can you measure the original WG port diameter for our reference. I forgot to measure mine.
Yeah, I will be pulling the turbo off in a few weeks

Took my turbo off today and measured the port to be a tiny bit smaller than 25mm...probably like 24.75mm.....so i am going to be porting it out to about 28mm I think so that will leave me with about 2.5 mm on each side overlay... let me know what u guys think....

Sounds good.
That's what I ported mine to: 27x28mm (see previous post)
I think 2.5mm overlap should suffice.
I ended up with 2mm minimum overlap on the side closest to turbine

So,
Original WG port diameter = 24.75mm, Area = 3.14*(12.4mm)^2 = 481mm^2

Enlarged WG port diameter = 27x28mm, Area = 3.14*(13.5mm)*(14mm) = 594mm^2

Total enlargement = 594 - 481 = 113mm^2

Percent larger = 113/481 = 23% larger than stock

Wastegate flow will not improve by 23% however, there are many other factors involved in gas flow through orifices that are very difficult to quantify. Scientific BS aside, bottomline the larger port will flow more than the smaller original port!

Here's some more pics. Hope this helps
