Default Have problems using a 90 degree coupler with Pfab?

hello has anyone with the pfab equal length manifold have a problem with super tight fitment where the turbo connects to the intercooler piping? im about to get a 90 degree aluminum elbow welded onto the turbo because i tried using the rubber 90 degree coupler and it seemed to not allign properly without touching the manifold or frame. thanks!

We modify the compressor outlet with a 90 degree aluminum elbow with our turbo kits to work with our IC piping if that helps to clarify.

90 couplers are just a bad idea in general. at a 90 bend, there is so much force exerted on the outside of the radius as it is. for that wall to be pliable is just not the best idea. any kind of hard bend, especially right off the source of the flow/pressure(Turbo) needs to be solid.

k thanks for your replies! i tried rotating the turbo outlet more to towards the engine but the outlet hits the manifold piping. the 2.5 inch outlet of the turbo sits right in between the wastegate tube and a tube off of the manifold and is a super tight squeeze.

heres a pic of it with a smaller gt3076 with a 2 outlet. with my new 2.5 inch oulet on my precision 5857, its even more tight between those two pipings. so i hope the welded 90 degree flange will fit...

I am having this same dilemma right now, I had my GT35 modified by Pang to add a 90 degree bend on the compressor housing. I recently upgraded to the precision 62mm billet wheel and compressor which has a 2.5" outlet. I will be welding another 90 degree on as there is very little room for a coupler.

It is recommended that you weld a 90 degree elbow to the housing. I did. This is how pang does it also.
