What type of welder/gauge wire did you guys use to do yours?

 

I have a similar set up and I had a 90 degree elbow welded to my turbo compressor. This doesn't void the Garrett warranty because I actually had my center section replaced. here are pics of mine:













It's a tight fit for me too but I dont have any rubbing issues or problems.
