Have problems using a 90 degree coupler with Pfab?

Yep thats the compressor i just got...man do I ever wish i had a large center section like that, the GT35R center section is tiny esp with the 1.06 exhaust housing around it.

hey do you have a problem with this since your turbo is resting on the frame? mine sits nearly just like that and i was wondering when the motor is trying to move during acceleration, would this stress out the manifold and turbo?

It's tight. When people put elbows on comp housings they usually cut down the neck a bit so it doesn't stick way down.

You should be able to just get a 90 deg aluminum elbow and use a coupler to hold it onto the turbo without having to weld it on. If you weld it on, it will degrade the turbo and not all people will have a manifold for that turbo that will need a welded 90 end on it if you ever wanted to sell it to upgrade. Also, Precision and other companies may not warranty that turbo if it has any problems and has been modified with a welded on 90 elbow.

They won't warranty it b/c of the compressor housing? Thats BS.

I DIDN'T want to do this, but was forced to obviously. I'm thinking this winter, or maybe w/this setup depending on the motor I may go to a sidewinder.

Not sure yet.

Probably not the best for it I'd imagine.
