Nice graph.... is the extra power worth the two thousand odd dollar cylinder head job, though? Also, is the OP running a base vortech or 13psi? What are you comparing in those two plots, specifically?

ones TQ ones HP the TQ on the side was rescaled so the lines line up on the graph
this was with a 72mm turbo

who said I paid for it, it was a nice wedding present from Mr Ten.

Free is always good, and congratulations (belated).

I just meant that from the op's perspective, it would be 25-50 hp (if done properly) for over two thousand dollars, not including labor if he isn't doing it himself.

When I said:
"The statement "I'm making X more horsepower than I should be" is statistically worthless. I'm not saying it isn't true, but a solid pair of dyno graphs (before, after) would go a long way in quelling my skepticism."
...I meant that to really address the op's questions scientifically and weed out speculation, we'd need a dyno of a vortech setup with a stock head, and then one with a modified head - and no other changes.

Very true. I guess he needs to decide where he wants to be down the road as well.

I will be running about 12lbs on a Vortech SC with the build head and lower the compression with a Head gasket.

Alos like Sideway have mention even with standard boost he still gain quit abit with the builded head.

Sarcasm, btstone? I thought my reasoning was sound...

911gt2, if you have the two grand in disposable income and you're pleased with the cost/benefit analysis, then go for it. I'm sure it'll make you power, you just need to decide if the margins make the endeavor worth your money. On that note, I recommend leaving all the extra money you seem to have with me. I'm like a bank, but better...
