[QUOTE=TRBOKEV,Jul 12 2010, 05:23 AM] Joey, you still should run a leakdown test to determine if the head gasket is OK, if you haven't already had it done this past weekend.

did u run a compression test before hand?

I should have done one, I was pressed for time. Does your car overheat in boost?
I didn't run a compression test, it's honestly completely useless unless you have a catastrophic failure of the gasket or motor. You need to do the leakdown and more importantly keep pressure in the cylinders with the radiator car off to check for rising coolant in the radiator.

My car has NEVER overheated or even gotten hot for that matter.
I have had heat all but one time and all it took was one blip of the throttle that one time and the heat was instantly back at full strength for good.

Yep.. Be sure when they do the leakdown to keep each cylinder compressed for at least one minute with the radiator cap off. I can not stress this enough, as your numbers can still be fine but it will still push coolant which means bad gasket.

I dont mean to scare you Joey, I just want you to get a for sure answer.

I honestly think a lot of people have this issue, they just don't test properly for it to diagnose.
