Default heater valve

I hope its not necessary I yanked the damned thing out and just routed tubing in its place. I removed the ac long ago and just wanted to make sure that what I did is just going to allow the coolant to flow freely through.

You'll have the heater on every time you turn on the blower motor.

I did it, it is fine. I just noticed that the cool air doesnt really get as cool now especially without a/c. Its kind of luke warm since the coolant is going through the core constantly.

if you dont even care about heat, just pull the two lines and put a coupler on them. no need to run coolant thru the heater core if you dont want heat ever. also one less thing to break, as sometimes heater cores leak.

^ ahh great idea. You have a pic of how that would be routed? I am in GA and heat isn't really necessary here. I stop driving it in October anyway.

just take both hoses off the firewall and shove them into something like this.

skip the heater core all together.
