Help! Lost the cap to my Aftercooler

Default Help! Lost the cap to my Aftercooler

So i got home and lifted up the hood on the s2000 and realized that i was missing the cap that screws onto the top the the Vortech aftercooler!

1) what does this cap do?
2) where can i find another?

Hahaha I did that once. It ended up getting stuck in my engine compartment and fell out while I was driving somehow I heard it bounce up hit the bottom of the car so I turned around and it wasnt even damaged. Anyways its to filly the aftercooler I guess you didnt install and dont check your fluid? You can just order them from vortech.

so it is used to fill the aftercooler with fluid? should i not be driving around with it like this?

well if you lose all of your fluid you will burn your pump up. I would remove the fuse from the pump so it doesnt run anymore. As long as the pump is turned off its fine to drive with no fluid in there.
