Honestly after you find out its not the plugs, try running a filter thats straight 4" as thats restrictive for the turbo.
^^^^I ran the car open turbo today and the problem still happened.. So I don't think is the filter or the 3" piping
lol

just check ur plugs man

im running .030 gap what about you guys??

Just offering some other options, don't have to be a dick? I'm just saying after he tries the plugs it could have been something as simple as a restriction in the intake.

Well considering your running the stock heat range plug which is a no no. Run an 8 heat range, one step colder. Allot of us run the NGK-BR8IEX? (2668 stock number) They come pre gapped to 0.33-0.34, run them right out of the box.

Thats debatable.

Us Midwestern boys run 7s without issues. A certain high hp supercharged AP2, a certain InlinePRO stage 2 AP1, and someone who decided to sell their s2000 for Chevrolet vehicle with a Cobalt steering wheel.

Does it sound like this?

That was with my s/c sputtering at 7700rpms with range 7 plugs, swapped out for 8s and it went away.

Intake won't do that unless the filter failed and ****ed up the turbo.

What does your wideband say? That's the first thing I check when something seems off.

Check your wideband

I had the same problem after a high speed 5 gear run in my old turbo DelSol. It turned out to be the spark plugs. I ended up melting the electrode on number 4 cyl.

Listen to these guys and check your plugs.

so I changed my plugs for the spare set I had laying around, problem still happened, car bucks hard under wot in the higher rpms, I had the tank pretty much empty and filled up thinking it might be the gas, nope its still happening, yes these are 7 plugs, I will try the 8s when they arrive, but if its not the plugs(which it doesn't seem to be now) what else could this be? I will hook up the laptop up tomorrow and datalog and try and send it to evans, this sucks...
