[QUOTE=D1sclaimer,Nov 18 2010, 09:32 PM] Thats debatable.

Us Midwestern boys run 7s without issues.

I bet its timing too.

When I got tuned, I forgot to correct the IAT and coolant temp values and when it got colder out, I was detonating. The ignition and fuel trims were causing it to not compensate for the temperature change as it should have. I had to take a degree out while in boost at 20psi before it'd stop detonating. My AFR was also decently leaner. After I corrected the values and scaled my maps accordingly, I haven't had issues since.

OP, check to see if you have the corrected IAT and coolant temp values in your sensor settings.

Detonation is detonation, not stumbling and hesitation like the OP is experiencing.

Possible spark blow out if the colder temps caused the EMS afr target to add fuel, if you were riding the line before this may have taken it over the edge?

Thanks for the suggestions, out of all of these the boost cut out makes the most sense, I was busy today and didn't get a chance to get in the car, I'm gonna take some logs tomorrow and see what's going on here

My turbo gsr would do this occasionally and it always ended up being something electrical. Whether I fouled a plug or a plug wire was loose. Hope its something simple like that. Good luck and definitely keep updating
