Default help with my setup plans

i am looking for some power gains. my car is a daily driver so i need it to be reliable. i also plan to do a few track days every now and then. im debating on s/c or a small turbo. i want a good 300 at the wheel that will be able to run with some vettes in a straight. i am planning on doing some track classes and some autox days this summer.

my current mods is a built suspension

It's all about how much you want to spend and do you have a good tuner in your area?

i'm in the same boat and i think i'm going to go for the comptech. there are so many options but the one that seems best for a daily (like mine) seems to be the comptech. you get 300 at the wheels with the stock kit.
sure there are some people who have daily's with turbos but there just seem to be so many unknowns...
just my opinions

i thought the comptech went out of buisness?? if i supercharge it will be the vortech just because thats all they do and have been doing for a long time they know what they are doing. for a turbo iv been looking at inline pro.

i have a good tuner a few hours away that wont be a problem

for price range not really an issue i know the turbo setup will be cheaper but will it be reliable for a daily and will it be anydiff than a supercharger on the track

I would recommend the Greddy turbo kit. It is easily had for around 4k shipped from site vendors. If you have a full exhaust and have it tuned you are well within your goal of 300rwhp. There are a couple guys running over 300rwhp in AP1's with full 70mm exhaust with test pipes. One put down 328 one went for like 331 both running about 10psi and stock compression. The S/C kits are more linear but the Greddy kit has a ealier and better torque curve. Both the Vortech and Comptech kits are nice though. If you go with a S/C kit, look into getting a FMIC or VMIC kit instead of the aftercooler.

why? The after cooler is more efficient. If you are looking for the bling factor you can always pick up the tech2 front mount radiator.

an entry level turbo like the greddy or a base comptech/vortech kit will get you to
