Default help with s/c install problems

we installed a v2 vortech s/c on an 04. On the test drive the a/f ratio's were screwy. Anywhere under full boost the a/f bounced erratically from rich to lean back to rich and so forth. Around 5% throttle (guestimate) it was consistently rich. Under full boost it ran real lean and the car pulled timing and it felt like there was hesitation.

Another problem that may or may not be related is that full boost showed up as only 3 to 4 psi on the boost guage. Autometer phantom mechanical btw. I know its not the most accurate but the car def wasnt pulling like other s/c'd s2ks.

fmu was done by the black box.

any suggestions. thanks in advance

Many people run perfectly fine with the stock kit bolt on with no other engine management. I would doubt that is the issue...

you have to adjust the fuel pressure regulator, but you need to take it to a tuner to do it properly.

are you using a wideband O2 sensor?

What size pulley is installed? You'll reach full boost at redline.
