Thanks Kenneth. I prefer the car to look as stock as possible from the outside (the vented hood was on the car when I bought it).

well if it helps. with all the heat wrap and heat shield my under hood temps and very reasonable. Even beating on it through the mountains my fuse box never saw temps over 150.

my hood is still stock FYI.

Cool. I'll be sure to apply heat tape to the hood; it was unbelievably hot (the hood; oil/water temps were normal) on the drive home last night (even though Thomas' shop is only 15 minutes from my house).

Thanks guys! The rear diff has an audible whine upon decelerating (ostensibly, this is common with the Richmond FD gear). Doesn't bother me at all; simply an observation (probably exacerbated by the fact that my car doesn't have any interior currently. I hear EVERYTHING lol)
