herecomesboost build thread (part 3)
Corey hasn't spoken to me in a few days (he's not answering my messages; although the timestamps indicate that he's read them). The new engine will for sure be at least 2.4 litres though
Thanks again for the welding tips! They're greatly appreciated
I switched to a #12 cup with a gas lense. I have the tungsten pretty far out while still getting adequate gas coverage.

Well, I've decided to go in another direction with my build (turbo LS1). All of my F series parts sold in a matter of hours! I've started on the chassis prep while we continue to search for a new house.

Started cutting the frame in the requisite places (still have a small section near the brake lines/steering shaft):

How the car is sitting currently:

Future tuner

Had a few hours to work on the car today due to the snow storm.
New electrical bus/panel(s) (12v+/Ground):

Gauges wired in/working (AFR, Oil pressure, Water temp, Ethanol content analyzer, Shift light, Line locks):

Thanks Peter. The hope is to finish the chassis prep/wiring before the move. The LS1 is pretty much a standalone harness from the factory anyway; wiring is straightforward.
Yeah! Can't wait
