Im shooting for 350whp as well with my setup. From what i have read, the stock headgasket is best for only 350whp.

Where is Mase located?

I remember reading a post that Mase did saying he does not prefer a HG. Only stock or built motor.

Either way a blown HeadGasket is not the end of the world. I have seen more 3mm Headgasket cars with higher numbers than Stock HG cars. Rob! drives his car on a Daily basis

Devils advocate................I have yet to see a motor blow on a stock HeadGasket and 12lbs+ of Boost.

Different stroke for different folks.............different methods for different tuners.........

Yah I have talked to Rob about the 3mm HG and it has lasted him 25k miles... That is pretty good for a 250$ gasket.. It's cars like his that make me wanna do it.. but like you said different tuners have different opinions... Ill wait to see what Mase says and hopefully everything works out... I know this topic is getting kinda tiresome... 3mm HG or not... But IM going to be spending $$$$ on this tune so I want to try and get everything I can out of it...

Ask the man! He'll tell you what he can do on both, you decide.

I can tell you what Mase will say... keep the stock HG. My car is currently at Mase's shop getting his turbo kit installed and we talked extensively about 3mm, 2mm and stock headgaskets. Mase prefers to use the stock HG.

FYI - I am running the stock HG and made 405WHP with the small turbo and Mase is putting a bigger turbo on.
