Default High Boost/Low boost switch wiring

My LOVEFAB kit is being installed and I would like to run a 4psi/8psi setting, supported by a switch. If anyone can hook me up with a diagram, link or picture....

Thanks in advance

The aem ems and a gm boost solenoid should be able to do the trick.
However it's a little bit time consuming and risky to tune if you don't really know what you are doing.

You basically hook up the GM solenoid as per instructed by the manual.
Hook up a swtich to one of the switch pin and ground the other end. Remember this switch number so you can select it in the ems.
Set up the boost controller in the ems.

Search on www.aempower.com forum for more instruction on how to tune the boost wg duty cycle. It's quite complicated and after about 9 pages of read you will as clear as mud. If you are clearer than that then you will be better off than me It helps with a bit of trial and error tuning on the car so you can see what works and what doesn't. However with such low boost and high compression engine you will risk overboost and engine problem.

The tuning for the WG duty cycle is also quite tedious.

You then tune the advance boost setting, from memory, for the switch input and second boost target. You can also rig up a switch for the GM solenoid power. so when this is off you will run stock wastegate pressure ie 3 boost settings for a cheap but very accurate solenoid.

Bottom line is that it's not easy to do and get the professional to do it for you if you can get a cheap quote.

Just buy a TurboXS two stage MBC. They run around $120 or so.

Thanks mate

The MES manual says how to conest the selenoid to the waste gate, but there is NOTHING about the electric wiring...there are 2 wires coming out of the selenoid plus some 2 resistors (or what ever)....I don't like the idea of having a separate boost controler Scorpion, since the EMS is already a very good one. There is a guy over here that can tune it, but I need to conest everithing before he comes over. So if you run across any diagram, please let me know

are you sure you read the instruction in that link?

connect one wire to the PW2 pin and the other one to +. It doesn't matter which one you connect as there is no polarity.

Happy boosting.
PS Make sure you programe the ems to cut fuel if you overboost!!!
